According to an article from wgnradio.com, a 25 year old man was charged with DUI after driving the wrong way on the Stevenson Expressway, which lead to a head-on crash. The driver was charged with aggravated driving under the influence. Three people were injured in this crash. Murder
According to an article written by the Associated Press and posted in Yahoo Sports, Arturo Gatti was killed early Saturday. Brazilian authorities detained Gatti's 23 year old wife after she made contradicting statements during her interrogation. She was the first to find the body. It appears that Gatti was strangled with the strap of a purse, which was found with blood stains. According to an article by the Associated Press posted on Yahoo, former NFL quarterback Steve McNair was found murdered on Saturday, July 4th. He was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest. His 20-year-old girlfriend was also found dead at his feet from a single bullet. "McNair had been dating Sahel Kazemi for several months, and Nashville police
spokesman Don Aaron said Sunday that a semiautomatic pistol was found under her
body. She was shot in the head."

According to an article in the St. Charles Republican, John Barsanti, the Kane County State's Attorney will work with local police this 4th of July weekend in an attempt to hold suspected drunken drivers accountable, even if they refuse to submit to breath tests. According to an article in the Chicago Sun-Times, Lake County Judge David Hall will stand trial for DUI on September 28. Prior to the trial, attorneys will have a hearing on a motion to dismiss the Judge's blood alcohol tests.

According to an article in Yahoo Sports, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte' Stallworth was suspended indefinitely by the NFL after pleading guilty to DUI manslaughter this month. Stallworth struck and killed a pedestrian who was crossing the street to catch a bus. Stallworth was sentenced to 30 days in jail, two years on house arrest, and 8 years of probation. According to an article in the Chicago Tribune, a teen faces four counts of reckless homicide and 12 counts of aggravated driving under the influence in Kane County after he crashed into two trees, killing a passenger in his car and injuring two other passengers. Underage Drinking
According to an article in the Chicago Tribune a teenager was charged with underage possession and consumption of alcohol while attending a party on the 1200 block of Westchester Road.
